Career Opportunities at Legacy

Legacy Private Trust Company is seeking to add to its growing staff and is currently reviewing applications for the following positions:

Senior Portfolio Manager

The senior portfolio manager will have a direct impact on investment decisions and overall strategy, and will work with significant clients of the company. Responsibilities include: manage portfolios through trading, cash management, and performance monitoring; complete investment reviews, conduct assigned investment research and work collaboratively in investment committee meetings; participate in client and prospect meetings to communicate Legacy’s investment philosophy, economic outlook, and tactical portfolio allocation decisions; represent Legacy in a professional and ethical manner in relationships with clients, industry and community organizations, and other relevant outside parties, particularly those that aid business development efforts.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the wealth management industry, with strong knowledge and experience in portfolio investment management. Undergraduate degree required (BS/BA). An advanced degree, preferably an MBA, is preferred and a financial designation such as CFA® is desirable.

Investment Officer/Portfolio Manager

Legacy will also review resumes for the position of investment officer/portfolio manager; responsibilities are similar to the senior portfolio manager, but seek candidates with 5 – 10 years of wealth/investment management experience. An undergraduate degree (BS/BA) is required and an advanced degree, preferably an MBA, is preferred. An additional financial designation such as CFA® is a plus.
