Career Opportunities

Looking for Exceptional Talent

Legacy believes that talent is a combination of initiative and intelligence, demonstrated on a consistent basis.

So instead of focusing on the tasks or duties you have completed so far in your career, we look for employees who exhibit an outstanding work ethic, motivated to succeed, and the ability to engage with colleagues and clients in a personable and conscientious manner – simply how, not what.

Many of the professionals who have found a successful and rewarding career at Legacy have come from outside the trust/bank or investment industries. If your professional attributes match our needs, we are willing to teach you our business.

Our business growth is continual, so while we might not be advertising a specific job opening, we will review résumés for people who share our passion for excellence in all that we do.

Position categories within the various departments at Legacy include:

  • Administrative assistant/customer representative
  • Operations assistant/representative
  • Financial/investment advisor
  • Trust officer/administrator
  • Business/sales development
  • Communications/marketing director
  • Portfolio/investment manager
  • Compliance/audit
  • Tax/corporate accounting

Most positions within Legacy require a college degree, and for some job titles, additional degrees such as a master’s in business administration, or a juris doctorate are necessary. For other positions, additional credentials such as a Chartered Financial Analyst® or other financial industry designations are desired.

If you are attentive to details, tasks, and deadlines, enjoy working in a team environment, can facilitate your workload while handling long-term projects, have the ability learn quickly and react effectively when high-pressure situations arise, and are committed to providing outstanding service to clients and colleagues, your next career opportunity could be at Legacy.
