Frederick W. Merizon and Paul A. Klister were officially installed in June and will assume their positions effective immediately.
As president and general manager of Modern Business Machines (MBM) for over 20 years, Frederick (Fritz) Merizon has a notable track record of increasing productivity and developing a business model that lead to great strides in overall growth and profit margins during his tenure. “Fritz brings a wealth of experience in developing business strategies that have brought great success in his career with MBM and we hope to tap into these skills as we continue to our mission of providing outstanding trust and investment services to our clients throughout the Fox Valley Region and southern Wisconsin,” commented Legacy president, Michael B. Additionally, Legacy welcomes Paul Klister, a former practicing attorney who attained his juris doctor from Hamline University. As an owner-principal of real estate development company Commercial Horizons, Klister has served as president and lead developer at the company for over 17 years. “As a successful developer with a wide-range of experience in commercial, retail and office space projects, Paul knows the make-up of this region and the opportunities it holds. We are delighted that Paul will lend his expertise as we expand our business to areas outside the Fox Valley,” said Mahlik.
Both Merizon and Klister have devoted considerable efforts towards area organizations dedicated to community outreach and quality education. As a life-long resident of Neenah, Merizon has been on the boards of organizations such as the Community Clothes Closet, Future Neenah Incorporated and a member of the College of Business Advisory board for the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, his MBA alma-mater. Klister has participated as board member of the Boys and Girls Club of the Fox Valley, Theda Care board of trustees, and St. Norbert College board of trustees, to name just a few. “The outstanding commitment of both of these business leaders towards the betterment of organizations that make this area a great place to live, work and be educated makes us honored that they have joined our distinguished board of directors that includes Richard Bergstrom [Vice Chairman, Bergstrom Corporation], James F.
