By Michael B. Mahlik, President, Legacy Private Trust Company
The last time I penned an article for this publication, Legacy was celebrating its tenth anniversary of helping families with their wealth management needs. It was titled, “Like the finer things in life, we are even better with age.” Now in our 15th year of operation, the theme is that of fantastic growth.
With our corporate office expansion, Legacy will occupy the entire fifth and sixth floors of Two Neenah Center. The Towers are such recognizable fixtures in the downtown area and they include many thriving businesses that consider Neenah home. This was our second expansion since moving to the tower more than nine years ago, and we were pleased to secure additional space to accommodate our growing team.
The reception area, client conference rooms, trust advisor offices, and internal operations will continue to be located on our newly renovated fifth floor. The new office spaces house the executive leadership team, the investment management group, and members of our corporate support personnel.
Our satellite office in Oconomowoc is serving a growing list of clients in the southern region. We anticipate developing a sales and service staff of five or six professionals over the next several months.
When we reached $1 billion in client assets under management, we marked the milestone with quiet reflection. It represents a new stage in the development of a company dedicated to building and preserving our clients’ wealth with intelligence, compassion, and personalized service. Growth allows us to search for new ways to expand our capabilities. Our mission will always be to bring financial confidence and peace of mind into the lives of our clients and their families.
