March 20, 2020 | Coronavirus Resources, Legacy News
Clients and Friends,
I wanted to take a moment to let you know about actions the Legacy team is taking in response to COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) – both to protect the health and well-being of our employees, clients, and families and to protect our clients’ investments. We are committed to delivering the Legacy service you have come to expect while looking out for the safety of all those around us. Our team began with response actions several weeks ago and we had already made adjustments to our office practices to guard against illness. Below are a few of the steps we have taken:
Office Hygiene – We continue to remind our team to exercise good hygiene practices. We have equipped our offices with extra hygiene supplies and, most importantly, have urged employees to stay home if he or she, or a family member, is ill. We have enacted special exemptions to regular PTO rules and will continue to be flexible to protect our employees’ health and financial well-being.
Travel – We have discontinued business travel and have advised our team to exercise discretion with their personal travel plans. We continue to monitor CDC and local health officials’ guidance on travel and will respond to such guidance as appropriate.
Business Meetings & Visitors – We have postponed all meetings and are discouraging all non-essential visits to our offices. We do, however, encourage you to contact us with any questions or concerns. We have audio and visual conferencing available and will be happy to hold a virtual meeting.
Recently, our Investment Services Team provided a commentary on the coronavirus situation. I encourage you to access it if you have not already had the opportunity to read it. As always, our team continues to monitor the markets and make decisions in the best interests of our clients. We will continue to provide information as this unique situation unfolds.
During this time, we appreciate your understanding and are grateful for your support. We will continue to look out for one another and encourage you to do the same for your family and friends.
